Usability

Usability means comfort; comfort for both dog and dogs master. The Dog and Drive system let your dog get in and out of the car comfortably, while protecting his joints. The stairs, which swivel in on themselves, can be used intuitively by both left- and right-handed users and can be removed with just a flick of the wrist. If you need more space for sports, shopping or business trips, the cushion can be removed, or the entire system be removed in one easy step.

Simplify everyday life through modularity

Do you have varied daily routines? You like to take your dog for a long walk in the morning, followed by the drive to the office, the golf game or the business trip? Our modular system makes your everyday life with dog easier. It can be assembled or disassembled in a few minutes and without any manual skills. On the one hand, the system can be used with stairs and cushions for the trip with dog. On the other hand, depending on the space required, the stairs can be removed with just one handle and the cushion with another. Thus, a large part of your trunk is still available for everyday use.

Control over your dog

Getting out on busy streets or near other dogs can be nerve-wracking and dangerous. In addition to its main function – getting in and out of the car – when folded, the stairs serve as a barrier for your dog. After opening the trunk, you can calmly leash your dog, restrain him with the leash, unlock the stairs with your free hand and unfold them. Automatically, the foot extends below the stairs and provides a secure grip on solid ground. Now you can lead your dog out of the trunk in a controlled manner.

Installation and removal in detail

The Dog & Drive system includes: Frame set, dog cushion and stairs with anti-slip mats. First, the pre-assembled frame set is pushed into the trunk. Then the carabiners are fixed in the eyelets or rails of the trunk. By operating the belt ratchets, the frameset automatically pulls itself into the correct position. Now only the cushion must be inserted. The staircase can now be attached to the frameset with just one movement and the entire system is ready for use.

Many cars, one system

As already described, the Dog & Drive system consists of three components. The staircase forms the heart of the system. This is identical for all vehicles offered and differs only in appearance by the configuration you choose. To ensure the best possible space for your four-legged friend, the cushions/frames are specially made for each type of vehicle. So that the system can also be used in vehicles with loading edges, we offer three different heights for the frame set. If you are now thinking about a change of vehicle, second car or similar, you have the possibility to continue using your stairs. Thus, you only need a cushion suitable for your new vehicle.
